How ScamGuard Pro handles your information
Case details, evidence and communications you submit are stored against your account and are visible only to you, the staff assigned to your case, and authorised administrators acting within their role.
Security practices
Access to case data is controlled by database-level access rules, administrative actions are recorded in an audit log, and evidence files are served through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs.
Privacy
We collect the information needed to review your case and provide support. You control what, if anything, is shared publicly in anonymised form. See the full privacy policy for your rights and choices.
Evidence handling
Screenshots, receipts, transaction records and other files you upload are stored in private storage tied to your case, retained for as long as needed to support your case and any related review, and never published without your explicit consent.
Account security advice
Use a unique, strong password for your ScamGuard Pro account, enable any available extra verification step, and never reuse the password from an account that may already be compromised.
How to identify official ScamGuard Pro communication
Genuine case updates happen inside your signed-in ScamGuard Pro case conversation. Official emails will always reference your existing case and will never request payment or credentials.
What ScamGuard Pro will never ask you for
We will never ask for your password, private key, seed phrase, banking PIN, one-time passcode, or a payment to 'unlock', 'release' or guarantee the return of funds.
How to report suspicious communication claiming to be ScamGuard Pro
If you receive a message claiming to be from ScamGuard Pro outside your signed-in case, do not respond or pay anything. Report it through our abuse reporting form so it can be reviewed.
Recovery support and outcomes
ScamGuard Pro provides scam reporting, information and recovery-support services. Recovery outcomes depend on the circumstances of each case and cannot be guaranteed.
